Spell Packet Construction
Players who plan to cast spells must bring their own spell packets to the game. These packets are easily made from cloth, birdseed (without sunflower seeds), and string or rubber bands.
To make a packet:

Pour one tablespoon of birdseed onto an eight-inch square of cloth.

Fold the corners up around the birdseed.

Tie it up to form a loose, little ball. The packet should not be tied so tightly as to be hard.

You can snip the "tail" off or leave it, as you please. Some spell-throwers prefer to keep the tail as a handle.
